I successfully downloaded Mozilla Firefox 3, 20mins later after it was officially launched @ PCT 10.00AM (GMT -8:00), June 17, which is equivalent to 1:00AM (GMT +8:00), 18 June Brunei Time.

The traffic was very high, I’m sure millions of were trying to download it too, and wanted to try out the new final release of Mozilla Firefox 3. Good thing all my add-on plugins work fine after the updates. This FF3 also speed up its boot for opening the program. You have 24hrs from the time I just mention above, to make history world genius record of most downloaded software in 24 hrs.

Gadget: MyKey AP501 RFID Digital Door Lock replacing his brother 2300

This blog is officially getting sicker. I passionately love to discuss on the gadgets that i wish i could own. Oh well life, need and want is all around us. So here let me introduce you to RFID (Radio-frequency identification) Digital Door lock, which is an awesome tools to feel so sophisticated living style especially for the geeks out there want to feel techky.

First the old model which is currently out of stock from the manufacturer, The MyKey 2300 RFID Digital Door lock:

“The MyKey 2300 RFID door lock gives you convenience as well as security, as long as the AA batteries don’t run out. The lock responds to one of six key-cards that are included in the $300 unit, opening up when waved in front of the sensor. If you forget your card, there’s a slide-out keypad for you to enter in your 3 to 20 digit passcode.

And if you forget your passcode, well, you’re screwed. So implant that RFID chip in your skin like you’ve been planning to do. It used to cost US299.99 which is about BND$408.586 (exclude transportation from US to Brunei), hey maybe your lucky enough, there’s still some marketing distributor there still selling this model.

But that’s for the old model, let say a few words for the current model, which is called MyKey AP501 Digital lock. This model comes with several color lines: Bronze (Age (black) ), Silver (Metal) and Gold (Bronze):

Momentarily hold your Tag Key key to the lock, and the deadbolt releases - no key holes, no opportunity to be picked. Built-to-last Mortise Lock
The AP501 is a mortise lock, meaning no additional hardware needs to be built on the outside of your door jamb - the lock’s deadbolt slides into the hole on your door jamb commonly used for deadbolt locks. PIN Pad Entry

Weather-Proof
The lock is fully functional in sustained temperatures of -35 degrees Fahrenheit, and up to +130 degrees Fahrenheit. Waterproofing allows it to resist rain and moisture of tropical storm proportions.

Easy Installation
Easy to install, impossible to take down. The AP501 is specifically designed to adhere to North American door standards, so in most cases, the AP501 will simply replace your existing deadbolt - the only tool you’ll need is a screwdriver.

Shock-Proof
The AP501, despite being a 100% digital lock, is also electric-shock proof due to built-in countermeasures. The lock can withstand a 15,000 volt charge, and still remain functional.

Impact-Proof
The AP501 is built almost entirely of solid Zinc Alloy and Steel, and is capable of withstanding even the most brutal ballistic forces. Simply put, your hinges will rip off the door jamb before the AP501 would ever fail. We know because we’ve tested it - the AP501 stands up to hammers, screwdrivers, and sledgehammers.

Novak Djokovic beat Federer, at Australian Open 2008 Semi Final

Rod Lever Arena, Melbourne - Novak Djokovic, 20 (3 - Serbian) beat Roger Federer, 26 (1 - Swiss) at the Australian Open Men Single Semi Final; with a dominant 7-5 6-3 7-6 (7-5) victory. That means Djoker will be in the final with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 22 ( no ATP Rank - France) on Sunday. Don’t look down on Tsongo, he won against Rafael Nadal at the semi final in a straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, 6-2. So basically, this final on Sunday won’t be so easy after all and hope Nole wouldn’t be too confident on that day. All the best to Novak and wish him best and hopefully he will win the title!

You know what? I’m thinking to get an ASUS P5W DH Deluxe MotherBoard (but in that case I need to save a lot of money coz I need to get a new graphic card too :s ). Well QQeStore still price it at BND$488.00 which is a Oh my God price. I hope its much cheaper in the current local computer retail store price. I did Google and browse eBay just to educate myself more about the motherboard. I’m also please with what I found in the net too, that the Motherboard current price is at US$139.99 (eBay) which is around BND$199.90 and GBP$100.45 around BND$282.67. The MB is a superb machine as it will also allow to run for MacOS platform. Getting that hardware is basically more cheaper then getting a Mac itself. Product Info at QQeStore.
